About the role
We are looking for an experienced Core Yard Technician who will provide field support to the Mungari Resource Development, Open Pit and Underground Geology teams, located 25km from central Kalgoorlie. This varied role is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled field technician, core yard technician, pit technician who can quickly learn the technical skills but already has the personal abilities to deliver the below responsibilities.
Collect geological samples from suitable sites, in either the field or open pit environment as directed, mark samples, note locations and dispatch to laboratory as appropriatePrepare site appropriately, including field set up, gridding, clearing, supervision of sump digging, track clearing, drill pad setup and building of causewaysCollect drilling samples as directed, split as required and dispatch to laboratoryComplete marking up of core, geotechnical logging, and specific ...
