Secretary/Administrative Assistant work is focused on supporting individuals, small teams or departments (vs. the entire office) including:
•Document editing, proofing, formatting, and production
•Data entry and paper/electronic document filing/archiving
•Scheduling/coordinating meetings, diaries, and travel arrangements
•Receiving/relaying telephone messages from internal and external sources
Positions on this level requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or basic technical education. Requires moderate supervision. Can solve routine issues independently, with occasional deviations or improvement to standard procedures.
