Familiarity with the full premix production process: batching, feeding, mixing, screening, packaging, dust collection, pneumatic conveying, and storage – including the principles of all equipment involved.
Knowledge of common premix equipment structures: mixers, batching scales, batching systems, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, screening machines, pulse dust collectors, automatic packaging equipment, bins, valves, etc.
Working knowledge of mechanical drawing, component principles, drive structures (gearboxes, chains, belts, bearings, seals). Ability to review equipment assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC wiring diagrams.
