Mechanical Inspector I

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Inspector I to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, machining, technical school, BOCES, trade school, or hands-on mechanical experience who are looking to start a career in quality inspection.

In this role, you will inspect manufactured parts using precision measuring tools, compare parts against engineering drawings, and help ensure products meet quality standards. Previous inspection experience is preferred but not required for candidates with strong measurement and blueprint reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and first-piece inspections of manufactured parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions.
