Pilot Tools - Engineer Position

Pilot Tools, a long-established manufacturer of cemented tungsten carbide metal cutting, mining and wear part components based in Denver, Johannesburg, is seeking to employ the services of a suitable engineer to join the engineering team and fulfill a technical support role to the automatic powder compaction department.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Manage the pressing team.
2. Manage, improve, and develop compaction techniques.
3. Find solutions to compaction defects.
4. Document pressing techniques, defects, and solutions.
5. Assist with equipment problems and document maintenance procedures.
6. Help plan production and ensure that all supporting information, tools, etc. are ready.
