**Description**

The successful candidate will work at the Norfolk IMA, located in Chesapeake VA as a Technician for 2 years then transition to the future site lead for the Australia office with a 3-year commitment for the Towed Array Intermediate Maintenance Activity (TA IMA) program. Internal Candidates outside of Hampton Roads are will also be considered, with relocation possible.

Selected applicant will receive on the job training and will either be previously qualified or complete all qualifications as a Towed Systems IMA array technician and Pier-Side Supervisor in accordance with Personnel Qualification Standard (PQS) requirements. On the job training will also include Towed array asset forecasting, planning, tracking, reporting, configuration management and the coordination of the shipping / receiving of Government owned Towed Systems assets including towed arrays, towed array modules, and tow cables between Towed Array Community locations.
