Our team is critical in media mechanical design, mDVL testing, tribology, topography testing, and defect reduction. We collaborate closely with R&D and Manufacturing. About The Role - You Will Support mDVL Testing on Media mechanical design/development. Assemble HDD drives manually; manage test loading and unloading. Set up and maintain PC-based testers (Windows/Linux). Perform hands-on setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mDVL testers. Conduct head and media analysis using microscopes, optical scans, and metrology equipment. Deploy technical solutions to improve test functionality. Collaborate with engineers to resolve testing issues, support test recovery, and failure analysis. Ensure quality testing meets Media Mechanical CTQ and reliability requirements.
