This is a well-established, family-owned specialty chemical manufacturer located in the Greater Birmingham area; they've been around for 60+ years and have been steadily growing over the past several years. The incumbent was just promoted into an operations manager role and so this is a backfill of his position. 3 direct reports and reports to the Director of Operations.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.Approximately 6 to 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, process engineering, production engineering, or a closely related industrial environment.Background in batch or continuous chemical processing preferred; relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing experience may also be considered.
