Background

The Engine Room Supervisor will exhibit good leadership, supervisory and safety behaviors and will specifically ensure that all aspects of Engine Room operation and maintenance are carried out safely, through careful delegation and control of responsibilities.

Authority

The Engine Room Supervisor is specifically responsible for the operation and maintenance of Engine Room equipment and systems and the competence of those under immediate supervision.

Immediate Subordinates

Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Operators, visitors, vendor technicians, and sub-contractors.
