MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To receive and prioritize emergency & non – emergency telephone calls from the public by dispatching the relevant emergency service providers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Answer and transfer incoming calls
Basic contact centre administration
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Essential:Grade 12
Desired: BAA/ Level 3 first aid Certification
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential:Contact Centre / Emergency Contact Centre exposure
Desired: 1 – 3 years dispatching in an EMS contact centre
