Electrician/Apprentice Electrician 3rd or 4th Year

As an electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment and automation within the Thunder Bay Terminal in a safe and timely manner.

Position Details

Hourly rates: $44.44 for Red Seal Electrician, $43.41 per hour for 4th‑year electrician, $42.24 per hour for 3rd‑year electrician.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, regular hours.

What you’ll do

• Provide shift response to plant trouble calls, complete required repairs and return equipment to operations promptly.
• Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of facility electrical equipment, PLC systems, instrumentation and related equipment according to established guidelines.
• Install and repair distribution panels, motor control centers, protective devices, fixtures, instrumentation and related equipment in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
