Electrical Technician Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime. Install, test, and commission electrical equipment, motors, panels, and control systems. Conduct inspections and routine checks on electrical installations. Maintain MCCs, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, and motor control circuits. Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Carry out cable laying, termination, and electrical connections. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and electrical standards. Record maintenance activities and prepare service reports. Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure reliable plant performance. Assist in shutdown, turnaround, and emergency maintenance activities. Maintain housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are used safely and properly.
