Overview
As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you’ll support long‑term aerospace test sustainment programs by developing, rehosting, and maintaining software and hardware used in defense and aerospace test environments. This role blends hands‑on lab work, embedded software development, and cross‑functional engineering collaboration to keep critical test systems operating reliably for years to come.
Responsibilities
+ TPS development — Develop, modify, and maintain Test Program Set (TPS) code for aerospace and defense sustainment projects.
+ TPS rehosting — Implement existing test specifications on updated or newly developed test platforms.
+ Hardware–software integration — Integrate embedded hardware and software in a lab environment, performing hands‑on testing, troubleshooting, and system validation.
+ Cross‑functional collaboration — Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
