Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate electrical designs for industrial and mining projects.
• Prepare design specifications, scopes of work, bill of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Design and specify:
  • MCCs (IEC 61439)
  • Substations
  • Lighting and small power systems
  • Cable racking systems
  • Transformers and electrical equipment
• Perform cable sizing, equipment selection, layout design, and heat-rise calculations.
• Ensure compliance with SANS, OHS Act, MHS Act, and relevant international standards.
• Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide detailed design documentation to support manufacturing, software engineering, and implementation phases.
