Overview The EHS Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing safety, health, and environmental programs within the organization.
They will ensure compliance with local and federal Mexican regulations such as Norma Oficial Mexicana (NOM), Secretaria of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), and Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA).
Their mission is to create and maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant NOM related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Monitor compliance with regulations from STPS, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT and other regulatory agencies.
Coordinate with authorities to facilitate inspections and audits and implement recommendations from inspectors.
