Role Overview

An exciting opportunity to join a small, close‑knit team at Dr Gray’s Hospital (DGH), Elgin. The post provides General Paediatric and Level 1 Neonatal services for children in Moray, with a strong work‑life balance and a rural flavour.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide General Paediatric care and Level 1 Neonatal services
• Work across a 40‑hour per week rota, including on‑call, Consultant of the Week rotation and general Paediatric clinics
• Perform ward rounds, outpatient clinics, continuing care, administration, teaching, audit and research activities
• Share responsibilities with the existing Consultant workforce and the rota of eight resident doctors working across Women’s and Children’s Services
• Contribute to dynamic service planning and future expansions, including SCBU services in line with the Moray Maternity Programme
