Perform imaging tests EchoCardiograms and non‑imaging cardiovascular evaluations, which may include exercise tolerance tests, stress test, Holter monitoring, event recorders, 24‑hour ambulatory BP monitoring, electrocardiograms at technical level and assist in performing transesophageal echocardiography. Obtain patient history, explain procedures to patient, address patient concerns and follow established pre‑screening policies and procedures.
Determine appropriate methodology and techniques to use, arrange immobilization or support devices for proper patient positioning, select appropriate imaging device, prepare patient for echocardiography procedures, position patient appropriately for prescribed procedure, and assist patients at completion of procedure. Use good judgment when determining if the procedure was sufficient for proper diagnoses.
