Description
Overview:
The DSI Technician assists with the safe and efficient operation of the station’s dry sorbent injection systems at a fossil fuel power plant. This is an entry level developmental position which receives technical guidance, training and assignments from higher level technicians and supervisors.
Responsibilities:
Move and switch railcars for unloading facility Operation of Trackmobile Unloading of railcars Maintenance and upkeep of entire DSI system Preventive Maintenance of all equipment Use of overhead crane Unloading of trucks and other deliveries Assisting other departments as needed General housekeeping (hosing, sweeping, and shoveling) Perform Lock Out Tag Out Operations along with operating 480 volt breakers Use of forklift and scissor lift Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required.
