JOB SUMMARY
Operates a bus or sedan in providing transportation to John Knox Village residents, under the immediate supervision of the Public Safety Supervisor and/or the Dispatcher who acts as communications link for the Director of Public Safety. Supportive of the Village’s mission, values, and service/hospitality (PRIDE) expectations. Completes training as required by policy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Drives bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule. Keeps passenger safety a top priority at all times.Assists passengers with getting into or out of vehicle and assists with baggage.Regulates heating, lighting and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.Complies with local traffic regulation and safety precautions for passengers.Reports delays, accidents and traffic violations.Inspect bus and maintain proper levels...
