KPA1: Pre-Trip Procedures

1. 1.1. Check the vehicles according to Vehicle Inspection Checklist and procedures and hand over to Dispatch Controller– Actual Form Number.
2. 1.2. Report irregularities to Dispatch Controller/ (In Northern, Vaal, FS/NC, EC and Mpumalanga Zones report irregularities to the Head of Inventory or Inventory shift Supervisor) before vehicle leaves premises.
3. 1.3. Receive Trip Instruction Sheets Form and sign upon receipt.
4. 1.4. Ensure that name tags are collected and worn at all times.
5. 1.5. Collect products to be transported when appropriate with the Delivery Sheet and ensure that Blood Products are handled with care and secured in the loading haul.
