We currently have opportunities in our Domestic Services Department at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital and annex buildings for enthusiastic, motivated individuals. The Domestic Services team has responsibility for ensuring standards of environmental cleanliness are maintained and we are seeking additional Domestic Assistants to carry out these duties within our hospital. Previous experience in the cleaning industry will be beneficial but is not essential; successful candidates will receive on‑the‑job training and supervision. Uniform and protective clothing will also be provided.
We are offering permanent contracts of employment with the following posts: a part‑time post (20 hours a week) – 4 pm to 8 pm, working five days per week on a rota that includes weekends. Rates of pay are circa £13.45 per hour, with enhanced rates for work undertaken on nights, Saturdays and Sundays.
