Our client is seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that stock holding is managed as per the policy
• Monitor stock turns, stock holding costs and ABC Classification
• Introduce management controls to mitigate stock variances / losses
• Manage product classification and storage locations accordingly
• Manage stock rotation and traceability
• Manage warehousing / inventory related data, reports and KPI’s
• Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock counts
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and organizing of goods in the warehouse
• Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement measures to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
