We are seeking a dedicated dispatcher for a reputable client in the transportation industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating driver runs for afternoon and evening deliveries, ensuring seamless operations within a fleet of 30-35 trucks.
Responsibilities

+ Set up driver runs for afternoon and evening deliveries.

+ Review and respond to dispatch-related emails.

+ Enter driver runs into Truckmate system.

+ Coordinate arrival and departure of city P&D.

+ Print manifests and working copies as needed.

+ Conduct driver check-ins and ensure all pickups are assigned and covered.

+ Provide customer service via phone for pickup entries and inquiries.

+ Handle any driver-related issues.

+ Validate city pickups and print dock stickers.

+ Monitor drivers during pickups to ensure compliance with processes and standards.
