Our client, based in Durban, is looking for a Dispatch Supervisor to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for supervising staff and controlling outbound activities. Supervising staff, including mentoring & guiding staff to achieve relevant departmental KPI’s. Set targets and optimise productivity. Daily & weekly planning of employee activities. Planning and dispatch of deliveries to inter-branch and local customers. Maintain accuracy of inventory by enforcing tight control of outbound activities. Ensure all documented information and records are maintained in line with company and legal requirements. Ensure the maintenance of 5 S standards and housekeeping. Ensuring FIFO principle is always adhered to. Achieve and maintain OTIF targets.
