The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) is seeking a Disaster Management Officer – WASH to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and developmental WASH initiatives. The post holder will ensure timely and effective WASH interventions during emergencies, as well as support long-term community development programs. The role involves close coordination with MRCS Chapters, government agencies, partners, and Red Cross Red Crescent Movement components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and monitor WASH programmes in disaster preparedness, response, and development.
• Support DREF, Emergency Appeals, and donor-funded WASH projects.
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff, volunteers, and partners.
• Coordinate with government, NGOs, community leaders, and RCRC components.
• Ensure adherence to MRCS policies, donor requirements, and humanitarian standards.
