Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia regulates and governs the engineering and geoscience professions under the authority of the Professional Governance Act (PGA). We are responsible for protecting the public interest by setting and maintaining high academic, experiential and professional practice standards for 45,000 registrants and 4,900 firm registrants. We are a not-for-profit organization governed by a Board of elected registrants and government appointees.
Reporting to the Chief Regulatory Officer and Registrar, the Director, Registration leads the organization’s registration and licensing functions, and makes timely, fair, and risk-informed decisions that support and protect the public interest under BC’s Professional Governance Act.
