Compact, well-connected, and genuinely diverse, the inner-western LGA sits at the centre of one of the most significant urban renewal agendas in the state. The Homebush Transport Oriented Development Masterplan is reshaping a major precinct - unlocking capacity for 40,000 additional residents in a high-rise setting alongside Sydney Olympic Park. Strathfield Town Centre is being reimagined. The broader LGA, currently home to 46,000 residents, is projected to exceed 60,000 by 2041. This is not a council managing incremental change.
