Position Summary

Northland Properties Corporation (NPC) is a Canadian‑owned hospitality group. We are seeking a Director, Tax to lead the global tax function across the NPC group of companies. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for ensuring compliance, tax planning, and strategy for all Canadian and international tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all tax compliance activities for the Northland Group, ensuring accurate and timely filing of provincial, federal, and global tax returns.
• Lead and supervise preparation of information and direct/indirect tax returns, reviews of supporting reconciliations with accounting records.
• Ensure timely payment of corporate tax installments and manage corporate tax provisions for financial statements.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities, handle remittances, assessments, audits, and indirect tax compliance.
