Overview

The Groups and Events Director is responsible for proactive and reactive sales efforts for One&Only Mandarina, responding to inquiries within the set time frame with the intention of confirming profitable catering business and achieving annual sales group goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and/or attend meetings with hotel staff and clients, including catering sales, revenue, sales meetings, site inspections and site planning visits.
• Ensure the proper use of function space to maximize revenue potential for the resort.
• Keep the Director of Sales and Marketing fully informed of all problems or unusual matters so corrective action can be taken.
• Comply with One&Only standards for sales and marketing while working harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and the planning committee.
• Work an adaptable schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities.
