 Description Coordinate all datum schemes (locator logic) and assembly sequences required for 2D or 3D modeling.
Active participation in OEM/internal PDTs/Dimensional Review meetings.
Perform variation reduction and dimensional sensitivity studies and document.
Develops locator strategy documents.
Monitor and control the dimensional objective documents.
Identify Critical Characteristics and document on drawings, based on analytical results.
Perform comparison studies of measured data versus objectives and GD&T specification MCR’s/Nom Shift/Tol Relief.
Research and analyze data such as RSS, specifications, component tooling tolerances to determine design feasibility.
Define and document quality goals (dimensional and functional) by developing quality objective targets on key product criteria.
