Role

DevOps Engineer responsible for ensuring reliable and secure operation of remote IoT hardware deployed at aquaculture farms in Chile and worldwide. Manages deployment, upgrade, observability, automation, and recovery to minimize downtime, and supports field teams with diagnostics and self‑diagnostic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Securely deploy and configure software on remote IoT devices.
• Diagnose and fix device issues remotely and develop tools and procedures to enable the field team to self‑diagnose and fix problems.
• Improve redundancies to minimize impact of hardware failures.
• Improve autoconfiguration to reduce on‑site setup for field operations.
• Enhance observability and monitoring to detect software or hardware issues before outages occur.
• Monitor bandwidth and optimize software configurations to reduce usage.
• Interface with customer IT teams for deployment of Aquabyte solutions.
