Role Description This is a contract, on-site Desktop Support Engineer L1 role based in Monaghan. The Desktop Support Engineer L1 will provide first‑line technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware, ensuring minimal downtime for users. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing basic hardware repairs and upgrades, and handling printer installation, configuration, and support. The role involves responding to support tickets, assisting with software installations and updates, and escalating complex issues to higher‑level support when needed. The Desktop Support Engineer L1 will also help maintain asset inventories, follow documented procedures, and deliver clear, courteous communication to end users.
