On behalf of my client we are recruiting for aDeputy Children's Home Manager to join their organisation within the Basingstoke area. You must have previous experience working with children with emotional and behavioural needs. You must ideally have your QCF Level 3 in children & young adults and have at least 2 years experience caring for children with EBD. Experience of working within residential settings. You will be required to create care plans and assessments. Rotas and staff management. Deputising in absence of the manager. Caring for and assisting children in their everyday lives. Carrying out tasks such as cooking, cleaning laundry, shopping. Taking responsibility for the implementation of the individual placement plans for the children by staff and other professionals.
