The Intelligent Systems and IT Operations Director is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of advanced IT systems and intelligent computing environments to support precision health initiatives at QPHI in Doha, Qatar. The role involves developing and maintaining efficient systems for omics, imaging, and clinical data analysis, ensuring the establishment of secure data pipelines and archiving solutions aligned with Qatar Foundation (QF) and Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) governance standards. The position oversees the availability, scalability, and performance of high-performance computing (HPC), storage, and cloud/hybrid environments, while ensuring robust information infrastructure to support organizational activities.
