Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage team of Database Administrators, Data Engineer and Data Analyst to plan, develop, deploy and implement databases and database related services.
• Ensure alignment of Database environments’ availability, reliability, and stability to complement Nayatel’s internal and flagship services like Internet, NayaTV and others.
• Oversee day-to-day database operations, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migrations and maintenance activities.
• Configure and manage database performance monitoring, alerting, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure KPIs.
• Design, implement, and maintain high-availability, replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions to meet the defined RTO and RPO targets.
• Audit and ensure Applications' design and architecture are aligned with optimal database performance and throughput.
