Responsible for management of database systems, including implementing relevant security standards and ensure high availability for the databases.
Installation of various database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, among others, running on various operating systems like AIX, Linux and Windows.
Design, create and maintain databases based on business requirements.
Perform upgrade of database software and apply patches as needed.
Implement security policies to ensure integrity and accuracy of the database.
Prepare, test and perform backup and recovery plan in the event of a disaster.
Perform regular database maintenance such as backup, statistics gathering and analysis and database reorganization.
Replicate and migrate databases across different environments as required.
