Our client is seeking a Data Center Engineer (VDI) for a role supporting the Department of the Navy in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) - Data Center Engineer will provide infrastructure engineering for periodic data center refreshes and/or new data center technologies, including future cloud capabilities.
The ideal candidate must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and have 8 to 10 years of experience with a BS/BA or, 6 to 8 years with a MS/MA, or 3 to 5 years with a PhD. They must also have experience in Infrastructure/ Datacenter engineering and integration for both physical and virtual infrastructure hosting one or more Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Solaris, UNIX, and/or AIX systems.
A current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification is required.
