Nature and Scope of Work

The Youth Care Worker works with individual or group(s) of students requiring social-emotional/behavioral supports/interventions. Youth Care Workers will work under the direction of the Principal.

Examples of Work

• Apply strategies with student to build self-awareness, healthy emotional regulation and responsible decision‑making.
• Assisting in the implementation of program objectives by addressing problems that are preventing students from achieving success in responding to challenge.
