Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is hiring a Custodian for our client in the Owego, NY area. Under general supervision, this position will perform a variety of custodial and light grounds keeping work for our manufacturing client. Responsibilities

Sweeping wire and dust off the floor.

Breaking down cardboard boxes for recycling.

Cleans windows, walls, and light fixtures.

Dust and cleans.

Empties trash receptacles, deposits recyclable material in proper containers.

Keeping the main production floor clean of debris and tripping hazards.

Sweeps sidewalks and walkways outside of buildings; polices grounds, picking up debris; shovels snow and/or applies de-icing.

Lift and/or move furniture, equipment, and supplies.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
