General Statement of Job

 
Under limited supervision, collaborates with teachers in the instructional program of the elementary school to plan and implement effective instructional strategies and materials; analyzes assessment data and serves as the school staff development coordinator. Reports to the assigned Principal.
 
Essential Job Functions 

Assists the principal in assessing, coordinating and improving the instructional program of the assigned school

Serves as a resource to the principal, teachers, parents and others concerned with the instructional program by aiding in selecting and evaluating instructional methods and materials, suggesting methods appropriate to individual needs, and answering questions about the school program and instructional policy matters.

Coordinates and conducts staff development on the school and district level.

Plans and implements new programs or procedures on the school and district level.
