In addition to assisting leaders with administrative and regulatory functions, the Computed Tomography Technologist Lead performs diagnostic Computed Tomography and X-ray exams (based on department needs) under the direction of a radiologist. The Computed Tomography Technologist Lead provides compassionate direct patient care with an emphasis on maintaining organizational values and standards of behavior. The Computed Tomography Technologist Lead operates diagnostic CT and X-Ray (as appropriate) equipment to produce diagnostic images of designated portions of the body to meet the national standards for dose reduction and assists radiologists and/or physicians in the administration of contrast media and other medications as required.
