Participate in the creation of the company's strategy, strive towards its objectives, and conduct business in a way that upholds its principles.
Actively support effective communication on all matters pertaining to crewing, agencies, and the Maritime Union amongst all members of the company and its overseas subsidiaries.
Make sure there is a strong safety performance culture (Zero LTI) by conducting frequent vessel visits. Discuss, review, and suggest improvements to satisfy the company's requirements and the established ISM criteria.
Assist QHSE in monitoring and evaluating staffing levels.
Keep an eye on all crewing costs and take appropriate action when needed.
Communicate with local and foreign authorities and agencies about crewing and operational issues.
Daily oversee the APAC vessels while communicating crewing needs with Accounts, Purchasing, Technical, and other pertinent departments.
