Position Classification: Crown Counsel Level 2

Location: Abbotsford, BC V2S 1H4 (Primary) Hybrid work options available.

Salary Range: $171,585.15 - $222,523.21 annually

The Role

As Crown Counsel, you will lead the prosecution of offences under the Criminal Code, provincial laws and certain federal statutes, from start to finish. You will decide which charges to pursue, guide cases through the court process, and provide support to witnesses, victims, and families with care and respect.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead prosecution of criminal and related cases from initiation through trial.
• Make decisions on charges and courtroom strategy in accordance with BC Prosecution Service policies.
• Advise and support witnesses, victims, and their families throughout court proceedings.
• Travel as required to attend court sessions and other relevant locations.
