Court Registry Officer – Invercargill, 12 month Fixed Term - full time

As a Court Registry Officer, you are an important cog in the justice machine. You will work with a team responsible for the successful operation of the Court and liaise with multiple stakeholders including members of the judiciary, lawyers, and the public.

You’ll enjoy the diversity of duties with tasks that include but are not limited to:

• Case management – ensuring files are accurate and up to date. This involves a large component of data entry and sound decision‑making.
• Court taking – running the court. This includes opening court sessions (in English and Te Reo Māori), working closely with Judiciary in the courtroom and in chambers and general administration of the court.
