Use defined procedures, bills of materials, and equipment to assemble various sizes of transformers and related sub-assemblies.
Rework damaged or defective component parts and complete assemblies.
Perform work in various work centers including bake oven, coil hot press, core/clamp, T.T.R testing, low voltage welding/finishing, lead press, and stacking.
Load cores and coils onto stacking line, stack core around the legs of the coils, and apply steel banding strap to core clamp the assembly.
Operate TIG welder to weld L.V. leads and crossovers, follow hookup diagrams for assembly connections, and test each finished unit using TTR tester.
