Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this full-time position will be to assist with strategies for youth substance use prevention, opioid misuse prevention and alcohol compliance/highway safety through a variety of interventions and strategies. These include, but are not limited to: collaborating with public schools to facilitate an after-school program using evidence-based substance use prevention programs in two elementary schools; delivering Narcan training, facilitating responsible beverage seller and service programs, conducting academic detailing sessions, facilitating parent/family education programs, collaborating with local law enforcement to conduct alcohol compliance checks; and assisting with youth ambassador training and the Worcester County Youth Council.
