Coordinator, HR Compliance

**Overall Job Summary**

This position is responsible for coordinating the centralized processing of unemployment claims and background screening, analyzing HR developments, and making recommendations on HR related matters. This position will support the HR department in carrying out human resources functions in compliance with company policy, state and federal laws and regulations.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)**

+ Serve as first point of contact for pre-employment screening and HR Compliance related inquiries from throughout the business.
+ Review background screening results, motor vehicle reports, and drug test results to ensure applicants meets company hiring criteria, following up with the applicant, courthouse, and/or vendor to research further, where necessary. Contact applicant if background check standards are not met to inform them of pre-adverse and appeal process.
