Responsibilities - Prepare and serve food products by following cooking and presentation recipes and specifications accurately
- Control food cost by minimizing spoilage, wastage, and managing portion sizes effectively
- Inspect all perishable food items received to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain workplace safety and hygiene by following established protocols
- Perform regular upkeep and maintenance of kitchen equipment such as refrigerators, utensils, and ovens to ensure proper working condition
Preferred competencies and qualifications - 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar kitchen or food preparation role
- Good understanding of Western cuisine cooking techniques and ingredients
