JOB SUMMARY:
The main purpose of our Conveyor System Estimators is to achieve our objectives by requesting bids from suppliers, anticipating specific requirements for new projects, and ensuring the scope is captured in an estimating program to develop an accurate proposal and successfully win new projects.
A successful estimator is defined by the following essential criteria:
- Data Driven, Fact Based
- On Time - Meeting or exceeding customer requests
- Quality - Detail Oriented
- Self Starter
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Pre Contract project costs pricing objectives
- Utilize tools to create bid comparisons
- Build and develop vendor relations and strategies
- Select appropriate vendors for bidding specific needs
- Develop RFQ documentation for vendors and suppliers
- Develop budgetary cost models
