Controller

A growing, project-based company in the construction-related industry is seeking a Controller to partner closely with the CEO and lead accounting and finance operations. This is an onsite leadership opportunity for a hands-on, tech-forward professional who can improve processes, support operational decision-making, and help modernize the finance function.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations across multiple locations

+ Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insight and operational support

+ Manage accounting in a job cost environment, including WIP reporting and analysis

+ Lead month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and account reconciliations

+ Monitor and manage multi-state sales tax compliance, including nexus tracking and tax treatment review
